Only three weeks after the bankruptcy of the Carlshütte - at the beginning of September - Arno Seeger offered to take over the Andernach plant at a very favourable price, namely only DM 1 million. On 23 September 1974, the contract was signed. Seeger had the right to use the old company name and the ACO brand name until 1982.
